SECTION 01WHAT ARE COOKIES

1. Understanding Cookies & Web Storage

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, to provide information to the website owners, and to enable certain features and functionality.

In addition to traditional HTTP cookies, modern web technologies use Local Storage, Session Storage, and IndexedDB for client-side data persistence. This policy covers all such technologies used by FajarDev.

HTTP Cookies

Small text files stored by your browser on behalf of a website.

Local Storage

Key-value storage that persists beyond sessions for preferences.

Session Storage

Temporary storage that is cleared when the browser tab closes.

SECTION 02COOKIE TAXONOMY

2. Types of Cookies We Use

We classify cookies into 5 categories based on their purpose. Each category serves a distinct function in our platform. The table below provides an overview:

CATEGORYCOOKIESREQUIREDPURPOSE
Strictly Necessary4YesEssential for the website to function correctly. These cookies ensure core functionality such as security, session management, and CSRF protection. They cannot be disabled.
Functional & Preferences4OptionalEnable enhanced features and personalization including SCADA simulation preferences, theme selection, and language settings. Disabling these may reduce your user experience.
Analytics & Insights3OptionalHelp us understand how visitors interact with the platform through aggregated, anonymized usage data. This information is used to improve our services and content.

SECTION 03STRICTLY NECESSARY

3. Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the website to function correctly. They enable core functionality such as security, network management, session persistence, and anti-CSRF protection. Without these cookies, the website cannot operate securely. These cookies cannot be disabled.

SECTION 04FUNCTIONAL & PREFERENCES

4. Functional & Preference Cookies

These cookies enable enhanced features and personalization. They allow the website to remember your SCADA simulation preferences, preferred theme, language settings, and digital twin session states. Disabling these cookies may reduce the quality of your experience but will not affect core functionality.

SECTION 05ANALYTICS & INSIGHTS

5. Analytics & Insights Cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our platform by collecting aggregated, anonymized usage data. We use this information to improve our services, optimize content placement, and make data-driven product decisions. All data is processed in compliance with GDPR anonymization standards.

SECTION 06PERFORMANCE & OPTIMIZATION

6. Performance & Optimization Cookies

These cookies collect data on page load speed, rendering performance, and caching efficiency. They help us measure Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS) and optimize the technical performance of our industrial web platform to ensure the fastest possible experience.

SECTION 07MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS

7. Marketing & Communications Cookies

These cookies are used to track campaign effectiveness, referral sources, and control the frequency of promotional communications. We do not sell your data to third-party advertisers. These cookies are fully optional and can be disabled at any time without affecting core platform functionality.

SECTION 08MANAGING PREFERENCES

SECTION 09THIRD-PARTY TECHNOLOGIES

9. Third-Party Cookies & Technologies

Some cookies on our platform are set by third-party services. These providers operate under their own privacy and cookie policies. We work only with vendors who maintain high data protection standards:

Google Analytics (Google LLC)

Used for aggregated traffic analysis with IP anonymization enabled. Subject to Google Privacy Policy.

Vercel Analytics

Privacy-friendly web analytics that do not use cookies by default. Collects anonymous performance data.

SECTION 10WEB STORAGE TECHNOLOGIES

10. Local Storage & Session Tokens

In addition to traditional cookies, our SCADA simulation platform uses browser Local Storage and Session Storage to persist UI state, digital twin configurations, and real-time setpoint values. This data remains entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

You can clear Local Storage and Session Storage at any time through your browser's developer tools (Application → Storage) or by clearing your browser data.

SECTION 11DATA RETENTION

11. Data Retention & Lifecycle

Cookie retention periods vary by category and purpose. Session cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for the duration specified in the cookie table above, unless you manually delete them.

Your consent preferences are stored for 365 days. After expiry, the consent banner will reappear to allow you to update your preferences. You may also revoke consent at any time through the preference controls on this page.

SECTION 12YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

12. Your Privacy Rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), UK GDPR, Singapore PDPA, and other applicable privacy laws, you have the following rights regarding cookies and tracking:
